Using a Yoga block is a great way to help release tension and stress off the upper and lower back. These particular Yoga block exercises will aid in open the body to help release tension and pain within the back along with the hips. This can be quite an intense practice for those who are just beginning or have never used a yoga block before so listen to the body and take it slow. If you do not have a yoga block i highly recommend you get yourself one. It is the best prop i own and i honestly couldn’t live without it. Try this comfortable foam block rather than the bamboo or cork, they can be quite hard for these exercises.
